Cookie Policy

    Last updated: 18 May 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Connected Medics, operated by Get Connected Limited, uses cookies and similar technologies on connectedmedics.com.

    1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, pixels and SDKs. In this policy "cookies" refers to all of these.

    2. Categories we use

    Strictly necessary

Required for the platform to function — authentication, session management, security, load balancing, language preference (including Google Translate). These cannot be disabled.

    Functional

Remember choices such as your saved jobs, feed preferences and accessibility settings.

    Analytics

Help us understand how the platform is used so we can improve it (e.g. which jobs and articles are most useful). Where required by law these are only set after you consent.

    Marketing

Used to measure the performance of editorial and recruiter campaigns. Set only with your explicit consent.

    3. Third parties

    • Supabase — authentication and infrastructure.
    • Google Translate — optional language translation widget.
    • Email and analytics providers — to deliver transactional email and measure platform usage.

    4. Managing cookies

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies via the consent banner shown on first visit and update your choice at any time from the footer. You can also control cookies in your browser settings — note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will break parts of the platform.

    5. Retention

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies last between a few days and 12 months depending on purpose.

    6. Contact
