These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Get Connected Limited ("Connected Medics", "we", "us") and govern your use of connectedmedics.com and all related products. By creating an account or using the platform you accept these Terms.
1. Who can use Connected Medics
Connected Medics is a healthcare-only professional network. You must be at least 18 years old and either (a) a qualified or training medical professional, (b) an accredited recruiter or employer in healthcare, or (c) an approved partner. We may verify your status at any time and suspend accounts that misrepresent their identity or credentials.
2. Your account
- Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
- Provide accurate information and keep your profile up to date.
- You are responsible for all activity carried out under your account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post unlawful, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, or misleading content.
- Share patient-identifiable information or breach any duty of medical confidentiality.
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated means to access the platform.
- Use the platform to spam, solicit outside the Marketplace, or impersonate another person or organisation.
- Upload malware or interfere with the platform's security.
4. User content
You retain ownership of the content you post (CV, posts, comments, articles). By posting you grant Get Connected Limited a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce and distribute that content on the platform for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You can delete your content at any time.
5. Jobs, applications and recruitment
Connected Medics facilitates introductions between professionals and employers but is not a party to any employment relationship. We do not guarantee job offers, response times, or the accuracy of any listing. Verify all roles and contracts independently.
6. Marketplace
The Marketplace lists products curated by Connected Medics. Sponsored listings are labelled as such. Purchases are made directly with the vendor; we are not responsible for vendor pricing, delivery, returns, or product safety. Always follow regulatory and clinical guidance when buying medical equipment.

8. Intellectual property
The Connected Medics brand, logo, design, software and all original editorial content are owned by Get Connected Limited and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy or republish them without prior written permission.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, abuse the network, or if required by law. On termination, the licences above survive only to the extent necessary to operate the service.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Get Connected Limited is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
